Green water is a common occurrence in the lifecycle of a pool. Many times it may occur because of lack of use throughout multiple seasons or it can even appear overnight during the hot nights of the Summer as algae grows and spreads throughout the water. Usually this process is caused by an imbalance or lack of chlorine in the water that fights off the growth of algae in your pool.
